About Prince

The Prince Automotive Group has been a South Georgia tradition for over 50 years and a family tradition for almost 100 years! The Prince Family of dealerships was established in 1966 and is owned by John B. Prince III who followed in his father’s footsteps. His father owned Chevrolet dealerships in the Carolinas for over 25 years. Prince Automotive is truly a family owned business with seven members of the family working together and now a fourth generation has come on board. This distinction has earned Prince Automotive the Cox Family Enterprise “Georgia Family Business of the Year”.

In 2019, Jay Prince was honored as Georgia’s Time Magazine’s Dealer of the Year which marked the third time the Prince organization was recognized with this award. In 2018, Prince Automotive Group was awarded the coveted F&I Dealer of the Year by F&I Magazine for it’s philanthropic and ethical business practices. In 2011, Prince Automotive Group was named a Bulldog 100 for being one of the top 100 fastest growing businesses owned by graduates of the University of Georgia. Prince Automotive has dealerships in Tifton, Valdosta, and Albany, Georgia and includes the franchises of Chevrolet, GMC, Toyota, and Honda.
