The
Prince family has been in automobiles for years…
Prince Chevrolet-Oldsmobile, Inc. was established in 1966 and is owned
by
John B. Prince, III who followed in his father's footsteps.
His father owned a Chevrolet dealership in South Carolina for over 25
years.
In 1974, the Oldsmobile franchise was added. Then, in 1978, the dealership
expanded to include Toyota.
The dealership grew again in April of 1990 when Mr. Prince established
a heavy duty
truck operation that
included Chevrolet Medium Duty, Volvo, Mitsubishi Fuso and Chevrolet
Commercial Specialty
Vehicles.
In March of 1992, the Honda franchise was purchased. Then in February
1997, the Prince name
expanded to Valdosta
when the Chevrolet-Mazda dealership was purchased. Then again in
August of 2000, Prince
Ford-Mercury, Inc. in Douglas, Georgia was established.
Prince - a South Georgia Tradition for over 35 years - A Family Tradition
for over 85 years!
